For use with our hardened exhaust valve seat #1453 for unleaded fuel. (Can also be used without hardened valve seats.) 350-455 V8’s. 6% flow increase over our 5290 valves. Set of 8.
Stainless Posi-Flow exhaust valves 1.710″ x 11/32″ stem, 5/16″ undercut with a 45° face. .100″ longer on the stem. Other specs the same as the 5370 intake valves (overall length 4.850″). 6% flow increase (being undercut). Set of 8.
Silicon-vanadium outer and inner valve springs. Chrome moly retainers and heat-treated valve keepers. Double spring – no dampener. Use with camshaft JM-18-20 or larger. Big block Olds casting #’s D-DA-E-G-H-J-K-F and small block 6-8-3A-4A-5A and some 7-7A heads. Heavy-duty, single-type spring with flat wound harmonic dampener. Kit includes chrome moly steel retainers and heat-treated steel valve keepers. Will accept up to .600″ cam lift, has 1.800″ installed height and 125 lbs of spring tension. Recommended for any stock cam and Mondello up to JM-22-25 grind only. Can be installed at 1.75″ giving 140 lbs of seat tension and will take up to .550″ lift. Set of 16.
Similar to SK-245-D but will fit shallow spring seat heads with casting #’s A-B-C-CA big block and 1-2-3-4-5-6 and some 7 & 7A small block. Will accept up to .500″ cam lift, has 1.700″ installed height and 125 lbs of spring tension. Set of 16. Recommended for any Mondello cam up to JM-16-18. Use SK-240-S or SK-247-SP spring kit with our larger camshafts.
Silicon-vanadium steel outer valve spring with flat wound harmonic dampener designed for cams up to our JM-22-25 while using stock type umbrella valve seals. Installed height is 1.700″, seat pressure is 130 lbs at .530″ lift. 320 lbs open pressure. The spring coil binds at 1.100″. (Use SK-240-S or -D for racing engines.) This kit is for shallow spring seat heads (big block A-B-C & CA and small block 1-2-3-4-5 and some 7 & 7A heads) and it allows you to run up to a JM-22-25 camshaft.
This kit is designed for cylinder heads with half deep and half shallow spring seats. This kit works with all Mondello hydraulic camshafts including roller hydraulic and mechanical flat tappet camshafts with lifts up to .650″ with no coil bind problems. You must use a small type positive Teflon valve seal like our VS-650 or VS-660 to clear the inner valve spring. Kit includes 16 springs, chrome moly spring retainers and heat treated steel valve keepers. (Includes 8 springs from the SK-245-D and 8 springs from the SK-247-SP spring kits.)
This kit is designed for cylinder heads with half deep and half shallow spring seats. This kit works with all Mondello hydraulic and mechanical non-roller camshafts up to a .540″ lift. You can use any valve seal with this spring kit. Kit includes 16 springs, chrome moly spring retainers and heat treated steel valve keepers. (Includes 8 springs from the SK-245-D and 8 springs from the SK-247-SP spring kits.)
Street/strip camshaft spring, designed for mechanical roller cams with no more than .608″ lift. This spring installs at 1.800″ installed height, will take .640″ lift and is good for 6,500 RPM. Kit includes springs, chrome moly retainers & heat treated valve locks. At 1.800″, 210 lbs. on the seat and .640″ lift with 510 lbs. open pressure. 1.540″ outer diameter.
