This positive stop T.D.C. checker is for Oldsmobile’s only. Oldsmobile spark plug and piston angles are not very good, so the normal positive stops available do not contact the piston properly. Our adjustable tool works with dish, flat top or dome pistons. This fits all 1964 to 1990 Oldsmobile V-8 engines.
This lifter bar is 6.400″ long and is .842″ on one end and .921″ on the other end. This lifter bar makes camshaft degreeing easy because the indicator contacts the top of the machined bar not the pushrod seat in the lifter body. This bar fits any engine with an .842″ or .921 lifter bore dimension.

Bronze camshaft spacer .041″ thick for worn blocks caused by camshaft moving back and forth in block. The .041″ size should be used in all engines to eliminate wear. Spacer must be used in conjunction with No. TB-740 Camshaft Thrust Button.
Crankshaft Timing Gear .040″ Billet Steel Spacer. This spacer slides onto the crankshaft and then you install the timing gear. On some engines because of factory machining when you use our CS-120 cam spacer, the timing chain alignment is off and this is when we recommend the CS-40. (CS-120 not included)
This camshaft gear adapter is needed when using our hydraulic roller or diesel roller type cam cores. The adapter allows you to use our steel gear (regular or roller) timing chain sets & comes with a special bronze cam spacer. The TB-740 thrust bumper is recommended with this part. (Not included)

This is the same as our TB-740 with the exception that it is .040″ longer. This thrust bumper was designed for those who already have their cam in the engine and didn’t use our CS-120 cam spacer. This eliminates camshaft walk and is recommended for all Olds V8’s, stock or performance. Reduces timing chain wear and ignition timing retard.
